IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To earn Direct Deposit or Online Bill Pay Advantage Cash, the account owner must contact the Customer Service Representative at their branch when the qualifying transactions are completed. All transactions must be completed within 120 days of account opening.
Direct Deposit Advantage Cash will be deposited into the account owner’s BankEast checking account after the third consecutive direct deposit. Certificate of Deposit interest, automatic transfers or sweep account transfers from other BankEast accounts do not qualify as a direct deposit for this promotion.
Online Banking Advantage Cash will be deposited into the account owner’s BankEast checking account after five (5) online bill payments have been made to someone other than themselves or a family member. BankEast will pay $2.50 for each full pad of unused personalized checks and $10 for each debit card that you turn in from your previous bank, up to a maximum of $50.
Advantage Cash is limited to $100 per household. Advantage Cash is considered interest and will be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.
